Not many realised today marks the start of the new islamic year
also known as maal hijrah.
That got me thinking why we have countdown to the new year 2009 with fireworks and merry making and blahblahblah but we fail to even know when is the islamic new year.
Im saying this not because i want to mengata orang etc etc.

But because i realised this,today.
If not for mama and ayah,i wont even know there is sambutan maal hijrah at expo.
If not,I would have missed the opportunity to seek forgiveness ,to start the new islamic year with words and praises of Allah.

Are we that busy that we forget whats really important?
That at times we,re too busy with the materialise this world offers.
we cuai,we leka.

Yet,we,re still given the chance to repent,to ask for forgiveness.
Dengan tahun baru ini,ampunilah dosa kami,kurniakanlah kami hidayat dan berkatilah kami dalam segala perbuatan kami.Lindungilah orang2 yang kami sayangi semoga kami diletakkan diantara orang3 yang beriman.Amin.
